Challenge: Take an up-beat yet dark themed hip-hop song with several images planted into its lyrics and create them on video along with highlighted lyrics and a transition from greyscale to color imagery.
Result: Shadows are used heavily in this video to keep a theme of darkness associated with the artist. Color pass is implemented in order to give the audience a feeling of hope from this dark shadowy greyscaled world they're introduced to. Near the end the video is in full color, allowing vibrant bright and sunny shades into the image, yet shots are still designed in a way to not lose the artist's dark association.

Challenge:With no script or lyrics written down, it was near impossible to pre-plan a shotlist for this music video. And with about eight people singing on it, assembling them would create extreme shooting schedule difficulty.
Result: A cameraman's and director's skill is truely tested when they have no pre-planning what-so-ever. Using a vague list of shot locations as a guide, a variation of superior and wide medium shots, and simply an excellent and skilled crew, this video was shot in two days.
